30-Day Return Window

At VoltGuard, we stand behind the engineering quality of our electrical infrastructure products. We offer a 30-day return policy starting from the date your tracking status shows as delivered.

Return Eligibility & Restocking Fees

  • Standard Items & Accessories: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, uninstalled, in the same pristine condition that you received it, and contained in its original product packaging.

  • Heavy Infrastructure & Installed Hardware: Any item that has been wired, mounted, or integrated into a residential circuit panel (such as transfer switches, circuit analyzers, microinverters, or grid-tied servers) cannot be returned due to safety liabilities under California law.

  • Restocking Fee: Due to specialized transit protocols and weight constraints, returned high-capacity battery units, generators, and orders valued over $500 are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs. Because power equipment is heavy and dense, we highly recommend utilizing a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. VoltGuard is not responsible for return shipments lost or damaged in transit.

Refund Processing

Once your return package is received and thoroughly inspected by our electrical hardware technicians at our Carlsbad warehouse, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are applied automatically to your original payment method (Stripe/Credit Card) within 5–7 business days.
