Shipping policy

General Overview

VoltGuard ships residential-grade power infrastructure, backup hardware, and electrical accessories to all 50 states within the United States. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses due to the size, weight, and hazardous materials classification (such as heavy lithium-ion chemistry) of certain energy stations.

Processing & Transit Times

  • Order Processing: Orders for standard in-stock accessories are processed within 1–2 business days. Heavy freight items (e.g., 12kW generators, solar pergolas) require specialized packaging and are processed within 3–5 business days.

  • Standard Shipping: Delivery within 3–7 business days via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

  • Freight Shipping (LTL): Heavy battery stations and standby generators are shipped via LTL freight carriers with lift-gate service. Freight transit times vary between 5–10 business days depending on destination.

Shipping Rates & Battery Restrictions

  • Shipping rates are calculated dynamically at checkout based on package dimensions, weight, and zone distance.

  • Lithium Battery Compliance: High-capacity LiFePO4 batteries and portable power stations are categorized as Class 9 Hazardous Materials under U.S. DOT regulations. These positions must travel via ground transportation only and cannot be expedited via air freight.
