Terms of service

Agreement Overview

This website is operated by VoltGuard (West Coast Electric & Power Inc). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to VoltGuard. By visiting our site and purchasing power equipment from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Product Safety & Proper Liability Disclaimer

  • Residential Use Only: All items sold on the VoltGuard storefront are curated strictly for personal, consumer B2C residential deployment.

  • Professional Installation Required: While we sell consumer-ready retail hardware, certain items (including but not limited to: Whole-House Surge Devices, Transfer Switch Boxes, Microinverters, and Integrated Energy Servers) interact directly with high-voltage building circuits. VoltGuard strongly dictates that all such products must be installed by a certified, licensed electrician.

  • Limitation of Liability: West Coast Electric & Power Inc (VoltGuard) shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, property fires, electrical short-circuits, personal injury, or utility grid fines resulting from improper product installation, DIY misuse, or failure to follow regional building code compliance structures.

Accuracy of Pricing and Inventory

Prices for our energy products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a Service or product variant without liability. In the event an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a system layout error, VoltGuard reserves the right to cancel any orders placed under the incorrect metric.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions must be resolved in the appropriate courts located in San Diego County, California.
